Hey there, it’s time for a self-introduction.

I’m Jeremy Chou— architect-turned-photographer, passport stamp collector, and proud girl dad. Sixteen years ago, I traded blueprints for a camera, and I’ve been capturing love stories anywhere it happens ever since.

From intimate backyard ceremonies to grand celebrations in Lake Como, I’ve had the honor of documenting over 300 weddings worldwide. My approach blends architectural precision with artistic vision, creating timeless, fine art images that tell your unique story. And when I’m not behind the camera, you might find me leading photography workshops, sipping on a strong cup of coffee at some hipster coffee shop, visiting a local museum, or hanging out with my puppy.

Here are some fun facts I haven’t shared before:

1. Many of you know I have a twin, but did you know I also have another older brother? He’s a physician at a large regional hospital, and we are all very proud of everything he’s accomplished.

2. I am a HUGE foodie; during destination weddings you can find me trying all sorts of exotic local cuisines. Including fried crickets and worms in Mexico, a steamed soft shell turtle in China, and rabbit stew in Italy (Albanian couple!).

3. Real Talk: I’ve cried at more weddings than I care to admit. (Allergies. Totally allergies.)

As I embark on my 16th season, I’m reminded of the joy and privilege it is to be part of such significant moments in people’s lives. Here’s to capturing more love, laughter, and happily-ever-afters.

For many of my destination weddings, I meet the couple for the very first time on the wedding day itself. It’s a strange dance to navigate — after all, I’m the stranger with a camera, stepping into some of the most personal moments of their lives.

But with these two, it felt effortless. From the very first hug, there was a sense of ease, of warmth, like old friends reuniting rather than strangers meeting.

And when I met their families, everything clicked.

Their kindness, their laughter, their quiet generosity — it was woven into every hug, every glance, every toast.
This was the kind of family I would hope my own daughters marry into someday — full of love, respect, and a deep, unwavering kindness that feels like home.

I’ve practically watched her from the beginning

I’ve practically watched her from the beginning of her career blossom into what it is today. @alyssalizarragaphoto actually used to work for my studio, and left to spread her wings because her own career was taking off. Words simply can’t describe how proud I am of all she has accomplished. And what an honor it was to document such an amazing milestone for her, Christian, and her adorable son Logan!
