Sharing some of the more “unscripted” moments from H&R’s beautiful celebration in Ravello Italy.

A majority of the wedding day is organic; it unfolds without any direction from the photographer. These fleeting moments are often what make up the core memory for the guests and my couples. It could be as simple as sharing an old story, catching up with a family member that you haven’t seen, or just taking in the scenery. These moments are worth documenting with the same attention to detail as the portraits.

A few of my favorite frames from H&R wedding in Ravello, Italy. My goal is to make complexity in story telling look seemingly organic. A lot of thoughts go into constructing a story line that tells a compelling story on a wedding day. Including selection of details, items to incorporate into flatlays, shooting angles, textures and background. Almost nothing is left to chance.

At the end of the day, if I made the day look effortless, then I’ve done my job
